The extension involved adding a spacious 10m x 12m section to the existing structure, built on a level site to streamline the construction process. The height of the new section, ranging from 4.8 metres at the low end to 6 meters at the high end, presented a unique challenge. To manage this, especially during the Coloursteel cladding and roofing process, we designed a clear-span that allowed us to Hiab the rafters into place. This method ensured the structure’s integrity and strength. Our team of skilled Whangarei builder’s utilised scissor lifts to safely access the higher sections, ensuring the entire extension was built with quality and safety in mind.
